Merry Christmas 2023

Merry Christmas! 

Although we were dealt with a not so nice card this end of year, we are still grateful and happy this yuletide season. 

We re-instated our 14 year tradition of giving back in our own ways. Our yearly tradition of Candy Gifts to all the kids. We stopped it during the pandemic and last year as we were out of town. 

It was also the first time my brother in law spent Christmas here, he was surprised at how many kids would go to our house for their yearly “pamasko”. 

I've forgotten how fun it was to see throngs of kids in the house asking for pamasko in all their Christmas wardrobes. They started so early and lasted until 2 in the afternoon. 

We still have some candies left so my niece and nephew took care of that when they came. 

I'm also happy that they really loved their gifts this year, we weren't able to give them proper gifts last year as we were mostly out of the country for December last year. 

My mom and dad got their “ampao’s” from us, which they opened secretly because they both thought we gave them different amounts hahaha! 

I gave my brother in law that Hot Sauce taste test bottles (10 bottles). He loves hot sauce, my brother a shirt from Uniqlo and my sister her favorite pjs. It's actually my PJs I gave to her and she asked for more. My nephew had the funko pop he requested and for my niece, some art set. For our baby Sky, I finally finished the Orchid Lego and POP Mart Lucky figurine. I hope she likes it. 

And for myself, i didnt give or bought any for myself. I dunno why I didnt. Maybe I was too preoccupied with everything. 

I hope my 2024 will be happier than 2023. I hope our family will have a happier Christmas in 2024.
