Saying Goodbye

Its December and its the holidays. Ive been feeling a little sad since I got the news of how my work is going to be for the next months. Please dont get me wrong - I am still grateful for everything, the reason im sad is that Im letting go of my apartment in Manila.

It was really a hard decision to make and Ive been holding off on it, but it needed to happen and its the most logical thing to do. You see, whilst im here in my parents house (im actually renovating this) im still paying for my house in the city, without actually living in it. The rent is kindda steep but I can manage - however, its not financially a sound decision to keep it longer as we dont see any future of us going back to office next year. 

Apart from that, the company is looking at continuing this setup as it clearly works and based from the recent survey only 2% of us actually wanted to go back to the office. 

Its going to be hard to say goodbye to that place. Its been my own for 3 years. Its the first house I moved in after my break up, so its only filled with warm and happy memories, but now, its time to say goodbye.
